Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts combined written examination for the IES (Indian Economic Services) and ISS ( Indian Statistical Services). The process is being conducted to fill the vacancies in Indian Economic Services (IES) and Indian Statistical Services. The UPSC IES / ISS examination is once a year, generally in the month of November.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will start UPSC Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination 2017 from 12th May, 2017 for the recruitment of Junior Time Scale of the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
The candidates are required to apply online only. The UPSC will not accept applications through other methods. The applicants should apply from official website of UPSC ie. www.upsconline.nic.in only. The application will begin on 8th February, 2017.
