Tamil Nadu is in southernmost part of India. The state shares a maritime border with the nation of Sri Lanka.
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) was established in 1923 by the Constitution of India to ensure future capability and sustainability within the Public Service in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is headed by the Chairman and Comprises of fourteen other members, all appointed by the Governor of Tamil Nadu, in accordance with the above provisions of the Constitution of India.
Functions of TNPSC
The commission to conduct examinations for direct recruitment to the services of the state. The selection process consists of both written examination and oral interviews.
